NEW DELHI: Distancing himself from Team Anna member Prashant Bhushan's comments on the need for a referendum on Kashmir, Anna said it is an integral part of India and Bhushan's comments are his own, his personal view and not the view of the team.

He said he did not endorse the remarks by Bhushan.

Speaking to the media at his hometown of Ralegaon Siddhi in Maharashtra, Anna Hazare said that Team Anna shoud focus only on the Lokpal Bill.

Prashant Bhushan was bashed up by some youths at his Supreme Court chamber on Wednesday. He blamed the assault, captured by a TV crew, on the rightwing Sri Ram Sene.

Bhushan reportedly supported a plebiscite for Kashmir and said that if the result comes in favour of separation, it should be honoured.
