TDP veteran Union Minister K Yerran Naidu dies in Andhra Pradesh
HYDERABAD: Senior TDP leader and former Union Minister K Yerran Naidu died in a road accident early today in his native Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh.

He was 55. The car in which Naidu was travelling collided with a lorry around 2 am near Ranasthalam in Srikakulam. He was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Doctors said he had sustained multiple injuries. Born on February 23, 1957, Naidu had been an MLA and MP and had also served as a Union Minister in the 1990s.

He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and a number of other leaders condoled the death of the veteran leader.

His funeral will take place this afternoon in his village in Srikakulam.
