KOLKATA : A delegation of Trinamool Congress and smaller parties today met West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi who had written a letter to the party chief Mamata Banerjee apparently urging her to resolve the Singur problem.
Without disclosing what transpired in their meeting with the Governor, the delegation leader Partha Chatterjee told reporters that "we informed him (Governor) of our stand and listened to his views. We will inform Trinamool Congress chief of our talks with the Governor and she will say whatever has to be said."
Mamata earlier in the day said relocation of the vendor park of the Tata Motors would end the deadlock, he said.
Chatterjee led the 16-member delegation of different parties making up the Krishijami-Jiban-o-Jibika Raksha Committee (KJJRC) to Raj Bhavan here.
