Tata lease renewal issue forces house adjournment twice

RANCHI: Jharkhand Assembly today witnessed ruckus over Tata lease renewal issue, leading to its adjournment twice.

Led by Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric) Legislative Party leader Pradip Yadav, the opposition MLAs walked to the well raising slogans and demanding a CBI probe into the 2005/06 Tata Lease Renewal issue.

Speaker C P Singh adjourned the house for half-an-hour at 11.30 am, but noisy scenes continued even after the house re-assembled at noon.

Barely ten minutes later, the house was again adjourned till after the lunch break at 2 pm.
