Tarun Tejpal’s interim bail delayed by Supreme Court
Supreme Court ruled out the interim bail plea of Tarun Tejpal saying that it would hear his only after it had heard out the complainant.

Tejpal's lawyer, Harish Salve, allayed fears that Tejpal would interfere with the case by offering to stay in Goa while on bail. Salve said that charges were yet to be framed in the case and hence his client sought bail.
Salve also sought to question key evidence in the case, CCTV tapes of the hotel, saying they did not bear out what was being argued in the case. "We have sought video footage of the CCTV of the hotel."
The bench led by outgoing Chief Justice of India, P Sathasivam issued notices to Goa and the complainant. The notices have to be replied to in four weeks.
