Tarun Gogoi to attend Nitish Kumar’s swearing in ceremony

GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister, Tarun Gogoi will attend the swearing in ceremony of the Bihar Chief minister, Nitish Kumar.

Gogoi is leaving for Patna on Sunday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Bihar Chief Minister on Sunday.

Sources in Tarun Gogoi’s office told ET, “It is unheard that Gogoi has attended a swearing ceremony of chief minister in his tenure as 14 years as chief minister.”

Political analyst however felt Gogoi’s fondness for Nitish may hint at new political equations. “Assam is going to polls next year.”
