GUWAHATI: With government demonetising Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes, Assam chief minister, Tarun Gogoi on Monday attacked BJP and asked the BJP to make public the election expenditure it made in the assembly polls in Assam which was held recently.

Gogoi said that Congress will also disclose the expenditure it incurred during the assembly polls.

"Let BJP do first. I support the eradication of black money once and for all. Presently common people are bearing the brunt of demonetisation."

Meanwhile, SBI has pressed in over 6000 employees to deal with the currency situation. According to SBI, they have deployed three mobile cash points.
