Tamil Nadu stated that it would lose its revenue on products if it is not allowed to charge a levy. The state was learnt to have spoken first on the issue.

KOLKATA: With GST meeting progressing, sources say, Tamil Nadu still sticks to its opposition over GST. The state stated that it would lose its revenue on products if it is not allowed to charge a levy.

Tamil Nadu was learnt to have spoken first on the issue. K C Veeramani, finance minister of Tamil Nadu is present in the meeting.

Barring, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha , Sikkim , all other states sent its ministers to attend the meeting and rest were represented by senior officials.
