Tamil Nadu: Madras HC orders CBI probe in Gutka scam

In a major embarrassment to the Tamil Nadu government, the Madras high court on Thursday ordered a CBI probe into the alleged multi-crore gutkha scam in which involvement of state health minister C Vijaya Baskar and director general of police T K Rajendran are suspected.<br>The first bench of Chief Justice Indira Banerjee and Justice Abdul Quddhose passed the order on a PIL moved by J Anbazhagan of the DMK.<br>
