Tamil Nadu leaders pay floral tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar

CHENNAI: Dr B R Ambedkar was remembered on his birth anniversary in Tamil Nadu today with political leaders including AIADMK Supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, DMK Treasurer Stalin, MDMK Chief and PWF Coordinator Vaiko and DMDK President Vijayakanth paying floral tributes to the architect of the Constitution of India. Jayalalithaa offered floral tributes to portrait of Ambedkar, while Stalin, MDMK Chief Vaiko, Vijayakanth paid their respects to statue of Ambedkar at Koyambedu.

Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President E V K S Elangovan paid his respects to the leader at Sathyamurthy Bhavan.

Various political outfits garlanded the statues of Ambedkar in different parts of the State.
