Tamil Nadu: Congress MP H Vasanthakumar passes away due to coronavirus

Congress MP from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu, H Vasanthakumar succumbed to Covid-19 late on Friday.

Earlier, the hospital had called his condition "critical" and confirmed that he had been admitted on August 10 with Covid-19.

PM Modi had tweeted that he was saddened by his demise and called his strides in business and social work as "noteworthy."
