Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa chairs cabinet meeting

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today chaired a cabinet meeting at Secretariat here.

The government, however, did not disclose the contents of the meeting, which came days ahead of Jayalalithaa's scheduled appearance before a special court in Bangalore that is due to pronounce its verdict in the disproportionate assets case against her.

The Bangalore court will pronounce its verdict on September 27.
