Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa gives away freebies

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa gave away freebies including mixies and wet grinders to beneficiaries and bicycles to students hailing from her Dr Radhakrishnan Nagar Constituency.

As a token of distribution of mixies, wet grinders and table fans to 24,942 beneficiaries, she handed them over to five families at a simple function held at the secretariat yesterday.

Similarly, she gave away five bicycles to school students to mark distribution to 1518 students, an official release said here today.

So far, 44,596 families in RK Nagar have been given mixies, grinders and table fans. Also, 7106 school students have benefited by getting bicycles, the release said.
