Tamil Nadu Assembly to meet on February 17

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu assembly would commence its session on February 17, the first this year.

Governor K Rosaiah summoned the House to meet at 10:15 am on February 17, Legislative Assembly Secretary AMP Jamaludeen said in an official release here today.

This is the second time the assembly session is scheduled to be held without the presence of AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa who was disqualifed as MLA following her conviction in a disproportionate assets case.
