Talks with allies in Tamil Nadu progressing smoothly: BJP
CHENNAI: BJP today hinted that it could finalise its seat-sharing talks with allies in Tamil Nadu and its list of candidates could be released soon.

Party's state unit president Pon Radhakrishnan said talks with allies --DMDK, PMK and MDMK-- were progressing smoothly.

"We want to finalise it (seat-sharing talks) by this evening," he told reporters here.

BJP's list of candidates was expected to be released after that, he said.

The party is involved in talks with actor-politician Vijayakanth's DMDK for the past one week even as it is holding discussions with other allies also.

It was learnt that the wish-lists of constituencies of DMDK and PMK are overlapping, causing delay in finalising the seat sharing.
