New Delhi: A step towards ending agitation in Punjab over the three farm laws, agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar and railways minister Piyush Goyal along with minister of state for commerce and industries Som Prakash, on Friday, held discussions with farmer leaders.

The discussions remained inconclusive but government hopes to find a solution to this empasse in subsequent meetings. The movement of trains in Punjab is likely to remain suspended as farmer leaders refuse to allow movement of passenger trains for now.
