Take action against holders of black money in foreign banks: G K Vasan

KUMBAKONAM(TN): Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader G K Vasan today demanded that the Centre take stern action against holders of black money in foreign banks.

"The Central government, without giving room for politics, should take action against the black money holders in foreign banks and release all their names," he told reporters here.

He also urged the Narendra Modi Government to withdraw service tax on remittances by NRIs.

He also demanded that the Tamil Government provide necessary relief to farmers affected by recent rains.

It should strictly adhere to the directions of the High Court in the illegal granite mining case, Vasan added.
