Takam Sanjoy urges MoRTH to expedite land compensation package

ITANAGAR: Lok Sabha MP from Arunachal Pradesh Takam Sanjoy has urged the Ministry of Road Transport and Highway ( MoRTH) to expedite sanctioning of the land compensation package for Trans-Arunachal Highway from Neciphu in West Kameng to Hoj in Papum-Pare district.

In a letter to the Secretary, MoRTH, Vijay Chhiber, the MP said that the long awaited dream of having Trans-Arunachal Highway by the people of the state has already been delayed for nearly 3 years now.

The administration of Arunachal Pradesh had already submitted land compensation package for Trans-Arunachal Highway for the said portion of road for further approval of government of India, Sanjoy said in the letter.

Without this, package the process of land acquisition could not take place.

This has further delayed construction of road by the contractor, the letter added.
