SRINAGAR: Hardline Hurriyat Conference chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani has written a letter to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief, thanking him for his government's stand on inclusion of Kashmiris in talks with India.

"Geelani wrote a letter a Nawaz Sharief and thanked him for his stand on Kashmir issue," Ayaz Akbar, a spokesman of the Geelani-led Hurriyat, said here today.

Akbar said the letter was delivered to Pakistan High Commission in Delhi, which has forwarded it to the Pakistan Prime Minister.

Pakistan last month pulled out of the NSA Level talks with India which objected to Pakistan High Commission inviting separatist leaders for meeting with Sartaj Aziz during the proposed visit to India.

Pakistan had insisted that Kashmir issue should be part of the agenda of the NSA talks.
