HYDERABAD: Expressing happiness on the implementation of ' Swachh Hyderabad' campaign launched by his government, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said the cleanliness drive would continue for the next four years.

Rao, who reviewed the campaign at Mettuguda area, appreciated that the officials and people are actively participating in the programme, a release from his office said.

Noting that sewerage system has not been conducted properly earlier, he said that the city should be made clean during the programme and a plan of action would be finalised for solid waste management after taking experts advice.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials will prepare a plan of action on the mater in 45 days, he said.

The officials should also obtain details from people during their visits to different localities as part the drive on various government services like social security pensions, housing for the poor, expansion of roads and work for addressing them, Rao said.
