Sustainability, governance and spirituality meet at IIMB
BENGALURU: Prof Ramnath Narayanswamy of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and Sunita Singh Sengupta of the Vedic Foundations of Indian Management, New Delhi, have organised an International Conference on 'Indigenous Models of Sustainability, Good Governance and Spiritual Transformation from January 4-6, 2016.

The event, to be inaugurated at IIMB on January 3, is sponsored by the Times Foundation and the Sahaj Marg Spirituality Foundation and supported by several institutions.

Close to a decade now, the world has been experiencing turmoil on several fronts. Management is one area where reality is challenging long-held convictions. How do we set objectives, how do we reach these objectives and how do we harness resources in the process -physical, monetary and human? A deeper look at sustainability, good governance and spiritual transformation clearly holds the key .

The conference will explore themes related to questions that surround this paradigm. Contributions and Registrations for the programme are invited on themes highlighted on the IIMB website. The conference is addressed to academics, practitioners, doctoral students and managers.
