Under attack from social media trolls for Muslim appeasement, External Affair Minister Sushma Swaraj has started a Twitter poll.

Swaraj has marked several tweets trolling her by liking them and in her poll, she asked people if they approve of such tweets/remarks.

Swaraj came under attack after an inter-faith couple alleged harassment by a passport official. The ministry had got into action quickly to issue passports to the couple while the official was transferred.

The official, however, said that he had followed rules.

Swaraj had earlier said that she was out of India when the incident happened.

"I was out of India from 17th to 23rd June 2018. I do not know what happened in my absence. However, I am honoured with some tweets. I am sharing them with you. So I have liked them," she had said in a tweet.
