Sushma Swaraj questions Pakistan over visa denial to 30 yoga instructors
NEW DELHI: External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj said Pakistan has denied visas to 30 yoga instructors who had planned to visit the country for International Yoga Day on June 21. She asked Pakistan whether the move was linked to India’s denial of visa to “ISI agent” Idris Mohammed. “Visas for 30 yoga instructors rejected by Pakistan. No reason was given. It is up to Pakistan to explain whether the rejection of visas of yoga instructors was tit-for-tat for denying visa to Idris Mohammed, an ISI agent,” Swaraj said at a press conferencein the run-up to the International Yoga Day.
