JERUSALEM: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today condemned the killing of an Israeli woman, a mother of six, who was stabbed to death in a terror attack in the West Bank.

"I condemn this terror attack very emphatically and I offer my deep condolences to the lady's family," Swaraj said during her meeting with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin here.

The woman, identified as 38-year-old nurse Dafna Meir, was killed by a Palestinian suspect in front of her six children in Otniel, south of Hebron.

"Sadly, you are here on a day when we are burying another victim of terror. A young mother murdered in front of her children in her home," the Israeli President told Swaraj.

"Terror is evil. It is a threat which faces the whole world. We say in Israel, as you say in India - there is no good and bad terror, terror is terror is terror," he said.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier vowed to apprehend the attacker and "make him pay the price" for his actions.

"Anyone who tries to harms us will be brought to justice," he said in an address in Hebrew standing next to Swaraj.

Some 1,500 people turned up at her funeral today, including ministers and senior politicians.

Her death brought the Israeli toll in the recent violence to 24 since October 1.
