Supreme Court to hear plea against transfer of CBI officers from 2G probe
NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court today agreed to hear a plea of BJP leader Subramanian Swamy that alleged two senior CBI officers, probing the 2G spectrum cases, have been shifted.

"We will hear it," a three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice H L Dattu said when Swamy mentioned the application seeking its urgent listing and hearing.

Transfer of officers involved in the investigation of the 2G spectrum scam is against the Supreme Court's direction that no officer be disturbed till, the probe is complete, he said.

Swamy said that Ashok Tewari, a joint director with CBI, has been shifted from all 2G cases in January, he said, adding that another officer has also been shifted.

"Such transfer, while the investigation is still going on, is in direct contradiction of the orders of this court," his plea said.
