Sunil Bharti Mittal welcomes new IT Minister
Welcoming the induction of Jyotiraditya Scindia as Minister of State for IT and Communications, Bharti Group Chairman and Managing Director Sunil Bharti Mittal has said the young minister is likely to add to the momentum to the sector.

NEW DELHI: Welcoming the induction of Jyotiraditya Scindia as Minister of State for IT and Communications, Bharti Group Chairman and Managing Director Sunil Bharti Mittal on Monday said the young minister is likely to add to the momentum to the sector.
"I welcome very articulate, able, tech-savvy Minister, who I am sure will add momentum to the IT and telecom sector," he said. The overall direction to the industry has been provided by A Raja but he (Scindia) is likely to add to the momentum to the sector, he added.
Sources from his office said that Scindia is likely to join office in a day-or-two as Minister of State for IT and Communications after the Minister, A Raja arrives in town.
The scion of the royal family of Gwalior and son of late Congress leader, Madhavrao Scindia, Jyotiraditya Scindai, was inducted into the Union Council of Ministers as Minister of State for IT and Communications yesterday in a cabinet expansion.
