Sunanda Pushkar murder case: Subramaniam Swamy demands SIT probe
Swamy has written to PM, asking for a CBI-led probe by a SIT into the mysterious death of former union minister Shashi Tharoor's wife.

"I urge you to set up an SIT under the CBI with not only Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) nominees but also of the Enforcement Directorate in view of the fact that the cause of death could have something to do with her threat of disclosure of the money laundering in the IPL scam, involving the son-in-law of a powerful political figure of the UPA," Swamy wrote in his July 2 letter.
In certain recent media interviews, Swamy has alleged that Robert Vadra's name would also have surfaced in the IPL scam if Sunanda had gone public with her disclosures. He has also said he will approach a court for a thorough investigation into Sunanda's death. "The unnatural death of Sunanda Pushkar has been hanging fire till today. From uncontradicted (sic) reports in the media, it is clear that the autopsy report shows 12 major injuries on her body and puncture in her forearm indicating an injection having been administered, and her blood tested as containing poison which has not yet been identified," the letter says.
