Sukhbir Badal to inaugurate Punjab's first NRI Police Station on Sunday

Keeping the promise made in the NRI Sammelan held in the month of January, Sukhbir Badal, President of ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) would inaugurate the state's first Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Police station.

JALANDHAR: Keeping the promise made in the NRI Sammelan held in the month of January, Sukhbir Badal, President of ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) would inaugurate the state's first Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Police station here tomorrow.

Sukhbir Badal would accompany with N P S Aulakh, Director General of Police, (DGP), Punjab, sources said adding that the upcoming Police station would deal with the complaints of NRIs only and give preference to solve their cases.

Earlier, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal during NRI Sammelan announced that special police stations would be opened in the state to especially deal with the complaints of NRIs.
