Sudipta's affidavit proves his 'good' ties with West Bengal government: BJP
KOLKATA: Saradha Group chairman Sudipta Sen's affidavit opposing a CBI inquiry in the chit fund scam proves his 'good' relations with the West Bengal government, state BJP president Rahul Sinha alleged today.

"His affidavit opposing a CBI inquiry proves the good relations between him and the state government. That is why Sudipta Sen is saying in his affidavit what the state government has been saying all these days," Sinha said.

Sinha also demanded round-the-clock CCTV surveillance on Sen.

"We are worried about Sudipta's security as we are apprehensive that he might be killed to save the big fish involved. We want a 24/7 CCTV surveillance of Sudipta's cell," Sinha said.

Sen has filed an affidavit in the court stating that he was quite comfortable with the state's special investigation team and the CBI had other investigations to do.
