Sudip Roy Barman stripped of ministership in Tripura

Barman had left congress and joined Trinamool congress. However Sudip later left Trinamool and joined BJP in 2017.

Guwahati: In a big move influential minister Sudip Roy Barman is stripped of ministership in Tripura.

The official statement issued by BJP led government stated that department held by Sudip Roy which included public Works department, Health & Family Welfare, Science, Technology & Environment, Industry & Commerce (IT) is allocated to chief minister Biplab kumar Deb and deputy chief minister Jishnu dev varma and Roy ceases to be the minister in the council of ministers.

Barman had left congress and joined Trinamool congress. However Sudip later left Trinamool and joined BJP in 2017.
