Sudhir Bhargava to hold charge of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities

NEW DELHI: Senior IAS officer Sudhir Bharagava will hold the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for one month from tomorrow.

Bhargava, a 1979 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, is presently Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.

The Department of Disability Affairs under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has been recently renamed as Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

Shailesh Nayak has been given additional charge of Secretary, Department of Space for a period of one month beginning tomorrow, an official release issued today said.

Nayak is presently Secretary in Ministry of Earth Sciences.
