Suburban rail users protest in Bengaluru
BENGALURU: Hundreds of suburban train users on Thursday held up train services as part of their protest over frequent delay in the arrival of trains.

The protesters stopped a train at the Anekal Road near Carme laram station.

A total of six trains were delayed because of the protest, which went on for more than an hour beginning 9 am. The issue found support in the social media.

“We have trains, we have stations... we have the people to take trains, which are far more convenient. All we need is to get the punctuality and increase the train frequency on this track. This will help 14 lakh people as this is the only track that connects all the major IT parks and also has connectivity to three different Metro stations,“ said a post on the NammaCityExpress Facebook group.
