Subramanian Swamy seeks early hearing on plea for facilities at Ayodhya
Subramanian Swamy has moved Supreme Court seeking early hearing on his plea for directions for providing basic minimum facilities to pilgrims at Ayodhya.

He mentioned his application before a bench headed by Chief Justice H L Dattu, which asked Swamy to check with the registry if the pleadings are complete in this matter.
"Check if the pleadings are complete in this matter. We will give a date thereafter," the bench said.
Swamy said the status quo order passed by the apex court in 1996 was limited to prohibit building of any structure at the disputed site.
In his application, Swamy has sought order from the apex court to "ameliorate the lot of million of Hindu pilgrims who make the pilgrimage to the site of the 'Ram Janam Bhoomi' at Ayodhya, to have 'darshan' and perform 'pooja' in honour of 'Sri Ram Lalla Virajman'."
