Strong earthquake jolts North India, Pakistan and Afghanistan
A powerful 6.8 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale shook parts of India, Afghanistan and Pakistan on Sunday evening, officials and residents said.

The epicentre of earthquake is in Hindukush mountain range, National Centre for Seismology said.
The tremors jolted buildings in the national capital and surrounding regions, residents said.
The quake was also felt in Srinagar and elsewhere in Jammu and Kashmir besides Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
The tremors hit Kabul hard, Xinhua news agency said.
Pakistani media said the tremors were strongly felt in Lahore and other parts of Punjab province.
