Stop politicising Air Force action: Congress to PM Modi
Congress leader Kapil Sibal asked the PM whether international media reporting that no militant was killed during the raids amounted to them being pro-Pakistan.

Accusing PM Modi of unfairly targeting the Congress and other opposition parties despite them extending support to the government and the IAF, AICC spokesperson RPN Singh said: “It is extremely shocking that the PM chose to accuse the opposition despite the Congress president and the Party standing by the government. While we continue to back the government, we would like to know how did BJP president Amit Shah know that 250 terrorists were killed?”
Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal asked the PM whether international media reporting that no militant was killed during the raids amounted to them being pro-Pakistan. Sibal, in a tweet, said several international media houses, such as the New York Times, London-based Jane’s Information Group, Washington Post, Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and Reuters, reported that there was no proof of militant losses at Balakot. “Aren’t you guilty of politicising terror?” Sibal asked.
Singh also demanded PM’s apology for stating that India felt the absence of Rafale fighter jets during the air strikes. “While the IAF chief is saying how effective our upgraded MIG-21s proved to be and how IAF is fully prepared to tackle any sort of challenge, our PM has tried to show that the IAF is weak. He must apologise for it.”
