Steps being taken for solution on fishermen issue: Pon Radhakrishnan
TIRUCHIRAPPALLI, TAMIL NADU: Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Pon Radhakrishnan, today said steps were being taken to find a permanent solution to the problems faced by Indian fishermen.

He expressed confidence that BJP under the presidentship of Amit Shah would be strengthened not only in Tamil Nadu but in South India as a whole.

"Amit Shah is taking good steps to strengthen the party in Tamil Nadu and other southern states," he said.

Congress has no moral right to criticise the 100-day regime of the BJP, he said.

Radhakrishnan claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visits to foreign countries were successful and he had been accorded rousing receptions in all the countries. PM's visit to Japan, in particular, was a success and India would get investments to the tune of Rs two lakh crore, he said.
