Statue of Unity & Ram Janmabhoomi Temple: Comparison obvious but little similarity

The announcement that the Gujarat government, through a trust called the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Rashtriya Ekta Trust ( SVPRET), will be building what will probably be the tallest statue in the world of former home minister Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and will be canvassing for iron scraps in a door to door campaign has led to inevitable comparisons with the collection of ‘Ram’ inscribed bricks for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. There are, however, points of divergence. How does it all stack up?
