State BJP spokesperson Bijon Mahajan denies link with Burdwan blast accused Sahanur Alom
Sahanur has provided descriptions of two high-ranking JMB activists who entrusted him with the task of recruiting new members for the outfit in Assam.

The farmhouse, located in the city's Hatigaon area, was being looked after by Sahanur's father-in-law.
Sources said Sahanur has confessed to contacting Julmot Ali while being on the run. "Julmot was taking care of Mahajan's farmhouse in the Anupam Nagar area of Hatigaon," sources said.
When contacted, Julmot Ali said, "I sought legal advice from Mahajan regarding the case. I wanted Sahanur to surrender."
Reacting to the reports, advocate Bijon Mahanjan said, "Giving legal advice to a client and non-disclosure of the content of the advice cannot be an offence because disclosure is prohibited under Section 126 of the Evidence Act, 1872."
Meanwhile, Sahanur has provided descriptions of two high-ranking JMB activists who entrusted him with the task of recruiting new members for the outfit in Assam. "We are now going to prepare sketches of the two as images are not available," NIA sources said.
The interrogation has revealed that Sahanur and other jihadi activists would use river routes to move around in the state.
Sahanur was arrested by Assam Police on Friday night from Larkuchi village in Nalbari district. He was remanded in 14 days' police custody. Currently, NIA teams from Delhi and Kolkata are interrogating him.
