Sri Sri Ravishankar questions Malala Yousufzai's Nobel Peace Prize
Ravishankar who was in Latur on Saturday without naming Malala said she was undeserving of the Nobel Peace Prize that she won last year.

“What is the importance of an award when it is being presented to a 16 year old girl, without even looking at what she has contributed,”questioned Ravishankar.
He was reacting to a question from journalists who wanted to know whether he was interested in getting a Nobel price for peace. Drawing up Malala’s example without taking her name, Ravishankar that even if offered a Nobel he would not accept the award.
Ravishankar was speaking in Latur where volunteers from his organisation along with Latur residents are engaged in a water conservation project. Ravishankar had come to oversee the project.
Malala Yousufzai has been acclaimed the world over after she stood for girls education in Swat Valley in Pakistan inspite of threats by the Taliban. The Taliban shot her in October,2012 and she survived miraculously and has relocated to London. In 2014 Malala became the youngest ever recipient of the Nobel when she was 17.
