THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) on Saturday got behind S Sreesanth and demanded action against Harbhajan Singh for allegedly slapping the pacer after an Indian Premier League match last night.

"This is a serious matter and this kind of behaviour should not be allowed from any player," KCA secretary T C Mathew said.

"The BCCI should inquire into the matter to ascertain what had really happened and take action against whoever had erred," Mathew said.

He said the investigators could arrive at a conclusion on what had actually happened by gathering evidence from eye witnesses.
