NEW DELHI: Sreenivasan Krishnan, a Kochi-based businessman and a former Indian Information Service officer who served as the personal secretary of the late Congress leader and Indira Gandhi loyalist K Karunakaran, was a director in four companies fully or partly-owned by Robert Vadra at various points, according to filings with the ministry of corporate affairs.
Krishnan has worked as news editor at Doordarshan Kendra in Thiruvananthapuram, and later served as personal secretary when Karunakaran was Kerala chief minister. Krishnan also worked in Karunakaran's staff when the Congress leader, widely known as 'leader', became the industries minister at the Centre in 1995.
