SRCC awaits Google CEO Sundar Pichai's campus visit

NEW DELHI: Google CEO Sundar Pichai will visit Shri Ram College of Commerce on December 17 when he arrives in India next week. He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee the same day.

Sources from SRCC said Pichai will spend nearly two hours with the students.

After Modi's visit in February 2013 as Gujarat chief minister, this will be the second high-profile presence at the college.

Already, #AskSundar is trending on Twitter as @googleindia tweeted, "What would you #AskSundar if you could? Tell us right here and you might get an answer from him next week," with a picture of its CEO and a caption stating, "Sundar Pichai, Google CEO, live in conversation at Delhi University on December 17."

Some are uploading questions like, "How can I get employed at Google, I'm a BCA student," and "Do grades really matter in getting the posts like this?" Many have technical queries like, "Any plans for Google apps to be part of the windows phone family," or "When will Google Fibre come to India?"
