Special CBI judge hearing Gujarat encounter cases dead

MUMBAI: The Special CBI Court Judge, who was hearing the Sohrabuddin Sheikh and Tulsiram Prajapati encounter cases, died today after suffering a heart attack.

"The special Judge BH Loya passed away early in the morning today in Nagpur after he suffered a heart attack. His cremation will be conducted in his native Latur district", said a CBI official.

The judge was hearing the CBI case against former Gujarat Minister of State for Home Amit Shah and 37 others.
