Speaker Sumitra Mahajan’s all-party meeting fails to break Parliament deadlock

NEW DELHI: Speaker Sumitra Mahajan’s all-party meeting on Thursday failed to break the deadlock in Parliament, with both the government and the Opposition putting the onus of smooth functioning of the House on the other, leading the NDA regime to indicate that it may convene another such gathering to ensure that business is conducted in the monsoon session.
