SP workers protest in Prayagraj over no-entry for Akhilesh Yadav
The tussle between the Yogi Adityanath government and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav escalated on Tuesday after the police resorted to lathi-charge during a protest by the Samajwadi Party (SP) workers in Praygaraj. The SP workers were staging a protest after Yadav was stopped at the Lucknow Airport earlier today and prevented from travelling to Prayagraj to deliver an address at Allahabad University.
