SP shielding accused in Noida land scam: BJP

LUCKNOW: BJP today accused the Samajwadi Party government of shielding the accused in the alleged land scam in Noida.

BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak alleged at a press conference that the government was adopting a lax attitude in probing an alleged farm house scam.

"From accusation of Lokayukta on Noida authority of not cooperating in the inquiry into scam, questions being raised by the Allahabad High Court over re-appointing officials, it is clear the the SP government was towing the line of previous BSP regime and taking arbitrary decisions," he alleged.

Pathak demanded removal of all officials who were facing charges and appointment of independent officials.
