Yadav also promised a sum of Rs 5 lakh to families of all those who died in the protests in UP that erupted since December 19 and have claimed 19 lives since. The 28-year old had died of a fire shot during the protests when he had stepped out to get medicines for his pregnant wife. He had not been a part of the protests.
Yadav said that at lest one member of the families of the dead should get a job and Rs 25 lakh as compensation.
SP has been the first opposition party to lend help to the families of those who died during the protests. Last week, a delegation of Congress leaders had also visited Wakeel's house to meet his father Saifuddin.
He also said that the Samajwadi Advocate Assembly would provide legal aid to the poor families of those who have been booked or arrested for the protests.
He accused the BJP of spreading lies in the name of the "CAA awareness campaign" which was kickstarted by BJP across the nation and is expected to reach out to 3 crore people.
