Southwest Delhi land records digitized, now accessible online
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has asked officials to replicate this project in all the districts of Delhi within the next six months.

Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has directed the officials to replicate this project in all the districts of Delhi within the next six months.
The initiative will allow citizens to have 24x7 accesses to their record of rights and also bring in en hanced transparency. Multiple copies of the documents can also be printed directly.
“The move will help in many ways as the legal status of the ownership of a property can be checked by any prospective buyer from the website, thus safeguarding him against transactions by unscrupulous elements,“ southwest district magistrate, Ankur Garg, said.
Garg said an online mutation module has also been developed so that the database remains updated.
People can contact Kapashera and Najafgarh sub-division offices if they find any error due to computerization of the records. The records have been digitized in Devanagari script with the facility of a virtual Hindi keyboard enabling easy search.
The digitization process will also reduce the work load of the revenue department.
