Sonu Nigam is a ‘blotch’ on the country and Hindu religion: Kolkata-based Quadri
KOLKATA: Kolkata-based Muslim cleric Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quadri called Sonu Nigam a ‘blotch’ on the country and Hindu religion. On a higher pitch he added that people who had a problem with Aazaan should live India.

“If we have freedom of speech, it should not be only for Sonu Nigam? Only he can speak freely and not me? I can also keep my opinion. If Sonu Nigam instigates people and attacks the Constitution, why should I remain silent?” asked Quadri, who claims to be the 35th descendent of Holy Prophet of Islam.

Responding to the issue of Sonu Nigam shaving his head, he said, “I stick to my word which I had said a few days ago. I will give Sonu Nigam Rs.10 lakh only if he wears a garland of torn shoes and apologizes to all the people in India. I don't think he has accepted my challenge. I think he went bald on his own will. I don't think he can accept the entire challenge to deserve the money.”
