Sonia to visit north Bengal on April 27

KOLKATA: AICC president Sonia Gandhi will give a finishing touch to the Congress��� election campaign in north Bengal on April 27.

Informing this Mr Rao said "On April 27, Sonia Gandhi will address three election rallies in Siliguri, Malda and Jangipur. She will come again to West Bengal to campaign for the party during the second and third phase of elections on May 7 and 13. We are also trying to bring Rahul Gandhi in West Bengal. But the dates for his visits have not yet been confirmed."

Elections to the Lok Sabha seats in north Bengal will take place on April 30. Mr Rao also said that joint election rallies by Sonia Gandhi and Mamata Banerjee will also be held and the two leaders will address a rally in Kolkata, the date of which is yet to be finalised.
